Two buses crashed on Interstate 380 in Monroe County on Saturday morning, seriously injuring several passengers, according to state police.
The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on I-380 southbound at mile marker 10.1 in Coolbaugh Township. A tour-style bus carrying about 40 passengers and a converted small school bus with about 3 adult passengers were involved, according to a state police news release.
Police said several serious injuries were reported, but did not specify if those injuries were on one or both of the buses.
State police at Stroudsburg are investigating. They were assisted by multiple area fire and EMS units, as well as the state police Troop N Accident Reconstructionist Unit and Forensics Services Unit.
