Golf tournament: Johnson College 32nd annual Johnson College Open, May 16, Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club in Mountain Top. All proceeds from the tournament support the Johnson College Presidential Scholarship Fund. Last year’s tournament raised over $50,000 for the fund. The scholarships are presented each fall to full-time students demonstrating financial need to finish their educational journey. Information: johnson.edu/golf.

Rabies vaccination clinic: Wallenpaupack Area High School Future Business Leaders of America chapter rabies vaccination clinic, May 27, 5-7 p.m., high school, 2552 US-6, Hawley. This unique fundraiser is helping the group raise money for its upcoming trip to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. The cost is $10 per pet, which is significantly lower than typical fees. The Wallenpaupack Veterinary Clinic is donating all services and supplies, allowing 100% of proceeds to benefit the student members.
