Archbald’s streets welcomed over 180 leprechauns, lads and lassies as they trolled the streets in search of participating taverns in the 2nd Annual Lepre-Con Pub Crawl in March. This gathering, clad in Irish shamrock greens from Tag’d Gift Store, sought to raise funds to purchase two automated external defibrillators for the Archbald Police Department. Moontower Bar and Grill, Bud’s Bar and Grill, Ambrose Revels Legion, Kenny’s Pub, East Side Hose Company and Barrett’s Pub were among the participating taverns, with the Black Diamond Bagpipers captivating the audience at the final stop. The pot of gold was discovered there with $3,738.
