Mass of the Anointing of the Sick at St. Ann’s Novena

The Mass of the Anointing of the Sick was celebrated Wednesday during the 101st annual Solemn Novena to St. Ann at St. Ann’s Monastery and Shrine Basilica, 1239 St. Ann’s St. in West Scranton. The novena, whose origins date back to 1924, continues through Saturday, with the Feast of St. Ann. Each year, thousands travel each day to the Passionist monastery in reverence of the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
