St. Anthony’s Church, Dunmore, was the setting Saturday, June 21, for the wedding of Gianna Rose DiPietro, Dunmore, and Antonio Felice Cicco, Scranton. The bride is the daughter of Carmen and Lucia DiPietro, Dunmore. The bridegroom is the son of Vincenzo and Karlene Cicco, Scranton.

The Rev. David Cappelloni officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Sarah DiPietro, Dunmore, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Ciara Cleary, Charleston, South Carolina, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Felicia Cicco, Scranton, sister of the bridegroom; Allie Meyers, Dunmore; Julia Sirotnak, Dunmore, cousin of the bride; and Olivia Sirotnak, Philadelphia, cousin of the bride.

Enzo Cicco, Scranton, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Carmen DiPietro Jr., Dunmore, brother of the bride; Kyle Yeager, Lake Ariel; Tanner Kachurka, Richmond, Virginia; and Joe Leone, Scranton.

A reception was held at Stone Meadow Gardens, Clarks Summit.

The bride is a graduate of Dunmore High School and went on to graduate from Marywood University School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch). She works as an architectural designer in downtown Scranton.

The bridegroom is a graduate of West Scranton High School and went on to graduate from Marywood University School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch). He is a practicing licensed architect and works in downtown Scranton.

The couple met while in school at Marywood University.

The couple will take a wedding trip to Greece and Italy, where they will visit the Greek Islands and have an extended stay in Florence, Italy, where they both previously studied abroad. The couple will reside in Dunmore.
