Mary, Mother of God Parish, Scranton, was the setting Nov. 16, 2024, for the wedding of Tia Marie DeLeo, Scranton, and Jonathan Thomas Kelley, Old Forge. The bride is the daughter of John and Patricia DeLeo, Scranton. The bridegroom is the son of John and Jill Kelley, Old Forge.

The Rev. Sam Ferretti officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Brittany Pasqualichio, Scranton, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Maria Guido, Dickson City, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Davis, Scranton, and Riley Logan, Springville, Ala.

Niko Amity, Old Forge, was best man. Ushers were Jordan Kelley, Old Forge, brother of the bridegroom; Alex Demian, Olyphant; Joe Castelluccio, Byram, N.J.; Matt Huggler, Ransom; and Matt Wong, Hawaii.

The bride is a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School. She graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science. She also graduated from the University of Scranton with a Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling. She is a nationally certified counselor and is now a mobile therapist at Scranton Counseling Center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Holy Cross High School. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University for undergraduate, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and graduate degree, Master of Business Administration. He is now a professional bass fisherman on the Bassmaster Elite Series.

The couple met in grade school.

The couple, who will take a wedding trip to St. Lucia in November of 2025, resides in Scranton.
