NEPA Youth Shelter recently received two grants from the Scranton Area Community Foundation. The $5,000 Critical Needs Grant has defrayed the costs of replacing the boiler at the shelter’s apartment building used by housing program participants. The $15,000 Community Needs Grant will offset expenses to remodel the new after school drop-in teen center.
