COVINGTON TWP. — A new Dollar General store recently opened at 872 Drinker Turnpike, company officials announced Monday.
A grand opening event will be held Saturday, starting at 8 a.m., with the first 50 customers receiving a $10 complimentary gift card and the first 100 customers receiving a Dollar General tote bag, officials said.
Dollar General plans to employ about six to 10 workers in the new store, company officials said.
The company provides training and development programs, benefits including day-one telemedicine eligibility as well as health insurance coverage options, 401(k) savings and retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and paid parental leave and adoption assistance to eligible employees, officials said.
