The Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre will stage its fourth annual “Weekend of One-Act Plays” from Aug. 8 through Aug. 10. It features original works by five area playwrights, performed for the first time by local directors and actors.
The playwrights are: Bridget Gimbi, William Jeffery, Claire Joelle, Roderick Markham and David Parmelee. Themes include angelic visitors, mental health, the value of meaningful work, the challenge of saying goodbye, and a few surprises.
