PA Route 6 Alliance on the Lumber Heritage Trail

PA Route 6 Alliance, Stop #4 on the Lumber Heritage Trail, is located at the Wilds Sonshine Factory in Kane, PA. The Wilds Sonshine Factory offers a blend of distilling innovation and educational experiences. It is the world’s only distillery producing “Sonshine,” a spirit made from sunflower seeds grown in the Pennsylvania Wilds. The factory’s Agricultural Education Center teaches visitors about the region’s vital natural resources like timber, water, and agriculture, while an impressive 43.5-foot bar made from a 205-year-old hemlock tree showcases the area’s timber heritage. The Wilds Sonshine Factory also serves as a lively community hub, hosting events like live music and workshops.
