Over the next few weeks, The Times-Tribune is honored to present the profiles of each member of the Scholastic Superstars Class of 2025. These outstanding students were nominated by their schools and chosen by a panel of local officials.

Q: What accomplishments are you most proud of and why?

A: Being part of the Blue and Gold National Honor Society. Being part of the NHS means so much to me. It reflects academic success as well as a dedication to service of my community.

Q: What were your most rewarding school or community activities?

A: Volunteering with local CCD programs. Doing this really showed me that teaching is my calling. I am so blessed with the opportunities my community provides for me.

Q: What is something you do to relax?

A:To relax, I usually go for a run or read a book.

Q: Plans after high school graduation?

A: I plan on attending King’s College for PK-4, special education, and master’s in the Reading 5-Year Program.

Q: Who do you most admire and why?

A: My mom. Everything that life threw her way, she always entered it with a positive attitude. She never once thought about giving up, and if she did, she never showed it. I love that she is able to always be smiling and she is a very strong role model in my life.

Q: What advice do you have for younger students?

A: Take every opportunity that arises. You will never know what the opportunity might open up for your success. Take the chance.

Some of her honors: National Honor Society, third place in the CTC Skills USA Regional Award for Childcare.

Some of her activities: Peer mediator, student council.

Some of her athletics: Cross country.

Some of her community service: Church volunteer, Hugh O’Brian Leadership Program, food drives.
