The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County in Scranton hosted a Weld-A-Saurus welding camp on Thursday for local seventh and eighth grade students. Campers got to construct their own pieces, learning basic welding techniques to transform a steel plate into the skeleton of a dinosaur. They also learned about technical careers with local opportunities. The CTC worked in conjunction with the Lackawanna County Workforce Development Board to offer the camp to county students.
