A Taylor man faces felony charges after selling crystal methamphetamine to a confidential informant on two separate occasions, investigators charge.

On Feb, 3, officials from the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office Bureau of Narcotics Investigations and Drug Control met with an informant who provided information about activities involving Nicholas Killino, 30, who was involved in the distribution of controlled substances in Lackawanna County, a criminal complaint said.

According to the criminal complaint:

The informant contacted Killino, of 711 Union St., on Facebook and set up a location to meet.

Investigators searched the informant and provided them with confidential funds.

Agents then set up surveillance near Killino’s Union Street residence and spotted him getting into a Ford Escape.

He drove to the agreed-upon location. The informant got into the vehicle, stayed briefly and then left.

Agents followed the informant to a predetermined location, where the informant handed over crystal meth consistent with the amount of money provided for the purchase.

On Feb. 20, investigators again met with an informant who agreed to purchase meth from Killino in a controlled situation.

Investigators searched the informant and provided them with confidential funds.

Agents spotted Killino arriving at the agreed-upon location in the Ford Escape. Again, the informant entered Killino’s vehicle briefly and then left.

Investigators followed the informant to an agreed-upon location and told the informant they needed to go meet Killino again, because the informant had been shorted. The informant again went back to the agreed-upon location, briefly entered Killino’s vehicle and then left.

Investigators again met the informant, who handed over an amount of meth, which completed the transaction to investigators.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on June 5 before District Judge Joanne Corbett.

Killino faces two felony charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two felony charges of criminal use of a cellphone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He remains at Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail.
