The state police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement is investigating a counterfeit $100 bill that was recently passed at Mohegan Pennsylvania in Plains Twp.

Troopers say a machine refused to accept a $100 bill inserted by a man who was gaming on the evening of June 26.

The unidentified man then exchanged the bill with a slot machine attendant, who took the bill to the main cage. Casino staff then discovered the bill was counterfeit, police said.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday.

Troopers said the investigation was ongoing.
