Andrew Heid, 21, of Peckville was fatally injured shortly after 2 a.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle on Route 107 in Mayfield borough.
He sustained severe head injuries and was declared dead at the scene by Lackawanna County Chief Deputy Coroner Jesse VanDeusen.
Mayfield borough police are investigating the fatal crash.
