The City of Scranton’s pothole reporter, www.scrantonpotholes.com, was launched in late May 2024, giving our residents and other drivers the ability to report poor road conditions to our Department of Public Works.
With warmer weather on the way, we will continue to repair roads through the spring and into the fall. With this system we have a public dash that will allow residents to see the progress DPW is making with their work.
In addition to this reporting system, the City updated its pave cut ordinance to hold utility companies and others more accountable for proper road restoration after cutting into City streets. Companies must meet the most current PennDOT regulations for pavement restoration, and colored asphalt tags will help the City identify responsible parties more easily.
If you’ve reported a pothole and would like to see our progress, please view the public Pothole Reporting dashboard below.
