St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (FOTP)

The mission of Friends of the Poor is to bring together in friendship those who have the desire to give with those who are in need of assistance, in order to ease the burden of living in poverty and enhance the quality of life for all.  Friends of the Poor (FOTP) operates fourteen food pantries (two full-time permanent, and twelve part-time satellites). Annually, these pantries serve over 15,500 individuals unduplicated, and more than 88,800 individuals duplicated. In addition, the agency’s Family to Family program holds three large-scale food distributions around major holidays, including 4,000 households at Thanksgiving, 4,000 households at Christmas, and 4,000 households at Easter.
