Abington Heights School District
The Abington Heights School District was formed in 1964, when individual, nearby school districts (Clarks Summit School District, Waverly School District, and Newton-Ransom School District) combined. Currently, the Abingtons are a growing community of eight boroughs and townships located about eight miles north of the City of Scranton. The district serves nearly 3,500 students.
